#1106: Nissin Raoh Rich Soy Sauce with Roast Pork (2 Slices)

Here’s another one from Scott over at Nissin! Thank again, man! This one has two – count ’em two – slices of pork! Let’s check it out!

The side panels (click image to enlarge). Contains pork.

The noodle block.

The liquid soup base.

Has a nice color and a strong scent of soy.

Seaweed!

A nice bit of garnish. Nori is often served with ramen in Japan.

Veggie packet.

Looks like green onion or chives and perhaps leek?

The star of the bowl: the pork!

Awesome – in the past, these have been really good.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Nothing added today. The noodles have a good texture and chew. The broth is a little salty, but has a rich soy flavor which is very nice. The veggies are decent – very light. The pork slices are perfect – nice having two of them too! The seaweed gives a nice finish to everything. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 4902105224007.

  1. Interesting… broth a little salty?
I find you don’t like to add adequate amount of water to most of your instant noodles (not just this one),
it really puts the flavors and texture out of balance.
eg. this one specifically suggests 430ml of water and what you got there seems more like half that amount…
Personal preference I guess, but this goes with the noodles too, most of the noodles seen on this blog looked overcooked.

    1. Actually, I added it up to the line on the container. The correct amount of liquid was added as is with all of the reviews I do. The thing is after adding other things and the time between making, sampling and photographing, some of the broth is soaked up by the noodle. I assure you that I always go by instructions; it’s very important to do so if I’m going to be objective.
