#679: Mamee Express Cup Fried Onion Chicken Flavour

Here’s another one my sister got me for my birthday! Here’s a brand I’ve never seen before – Mamee. It’s from Malaysia! Let’s have a look!

Here’s the info on the distributor’s sticker.

Here’s the side (click image to enlarge).

…and the top info (click image to enlarge).

This is the coolest fork ever – you pull it apart and it clicks!

See? Rad!

Powder seasoning packet.

Seasoned oil.

Here’s everything awaiting the boiling water.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Let’s see… The noodles are indeed plentiful – and not too shabby. The broth is chickenish – not too bad. The veggies are passable. This isn’t anything really to write home about, then again it isn’t a bad cup of noodles. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 9555022301242 .

Slrrrp Curry!

Or was it from Myanmar?

  1. Mamee! That’s one of my favorite brand of snack during primary school.
It’s deep fried noodle and inside the packet there’s a small pack of seasoning which you could pour onto the noodle. You just eat it directly, no need to cook. Some kids would crush the noodle, add the seasoning and shake the packet. I preferred to eat the noodle in its “complete” form rather than crushing it.

Mamee is another famous instand noodle brand in Malaysia, besides Maggi.
Right, the last 2 videos in your post are from Myanmar, not Malaysia. The Burmese scripts are consisted of various shapes of circle.

In Malaysia the national language is Malay, which uses the 26 Roman alphabets.
