#479: Nongshim Potato Noodle Soup

I’ve been waiting for the right time to review this and today is it. Potato noodles eh? I’ve had sweet potato noodles in the Baijia brand offerings and been quite unhappy with them. Hopefully Nongshim can make the potato happy again…

Two decently sized packets – veggies and powder.

From the scent, I think this is going to be a spicy one!

They were quite chewy as advertised and enjoyable. The veggies were an array of cabbage, carrots and corn. Awesome stuff. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars!

This is a commercial for pork potato noodles from Nong Shim.

  1. I had a chance to visit a local Korean Supermarket and they still sold these noodles by the box so I don’t think they are discontinued, at least not in Vancouver.

  2. These are one of my favourite noodles around, I go to my local H-Mart and grab a box of these whenever I run low. I hope they are not discontinued because they beat anything else I have eaten from Nong Shim. Not the easiest noodles to find as I have searched many Korean markets and other Asian supermarkets. Whenever I give a pack to a friend, they tell me they like it so there should be a market.

  3. Nice! I also got one of these, but after the Baijia desaster hidden in the very back position of my drawer.. Now I might try them real soon, thanks for the enlightenment! 🙂
