Re-Review: Indomie Mi Goreng Satay AND Rasa Baso Sapi (Meatball Flavor

So after seeing an article or two about Indomie’s problems with ‘noodlegate,’ I thought I’d show my support by eating two packages for breakfast. These are some of the best packages of noodles ever – they’re both reviewed on here already, so this is a re-review. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. Big time – good stuff here!

Two packages of noodles. Eight packets. EIGHT OF THEM! Indomie is awesome!

Wow some crazy looking bizarreness in this bowl…

So here we are greeted by the lovely vision of delectableness I have been cooking up for years. Added a couple fried eggs, some kizami shoga (pickled ginger), fried shallots and a little bit of Jufran Hot Banana sauce! Yeah – banana sauce! It’s about 80 cents a bottle and comes from the Philippines. Reminds me of Indonesian Manas Pedas sauce which is usually paired with these noodles – it’s a sweet and hot sauce. So this banana stuff works great in lieu of having that. Anyways, here’s the best bowl I really can think of right now. Get the satay here and the meatball here.

  2. I had the meatball flavor once, and I agree, indomie is fairly delicious, except I guess the chinese grocer where I get my ramen doesn’t rotate their stock often enough, because the noodles were stale.
