It’s been a while since I’ve done any re-reviews and there will be a couple in this Meet The Manufacturer. This is from a long time ago – last time I had this bowl was in review #304 which I posted February 20th, 2011. Yep – very old review and should be interesting to see how I like it now as opposed to back then. I know it’ll look nicer than back then – I used to drop two fried eggs in with EVERYTHING and a lot of the time it looked like a hideous trainwreck. Let’s revisit this one!
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in sachet contents and boiling water to fill line. cover and let steep for 4 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

An included fork!
The noodle block.
Dry soup base.
A light powder flecked with herbs.
A seasoned oil sachet.
Lots of bit in there.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, star anise, coriander, beef and chilli flake. The noodles came out nicely – wide and with a nice level of hydration – not mushy, not underdone. The broth has a food oiliness and great pho flavor to it. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. What was neat in Thailand was that the steering wheel in cars is on the opposite side. As many of you know, I have really bad eyesight and don’t drive – so this was a rare chance for me to sit in what I’m used to being the driver’s seat – in a moving vehicle!
