Here’s another one of these interesting new Maruchan Taste Of Asia bowls… These are really interesting; such a departure for their traditionally domestic flavors that are sold here in the United States. I like it! Let’s give it a try!
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add in contents of sachet #1 (solid ingredients) and room temperature water to fill line. Microwave (1000W) for 3 minutes uncovered. If you have a microwave with different wattages, use this tool.Let sit in the microwave an additional minute. Add in contents of sachet #2. Stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.
The vegetables sachet.
A curious array – looks like corn, TVP and maybe chipotle peppers?
The soup base sachet.
A light powder
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, baked chicken and ito togarashi. The noodles a flat and a little wider gauge than a standard instant. The microwave definitely did them justice and they’re pretty darn good – and very plentiful. The broth is a slightly thick spicy chicken with a little note of miso in there. The corn and other vegetables hydrated well – I also quite enjoyed the bits of TVP “chicken” in there which were very nice. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 041789003523.
