Here’s another one that was sent to me by Javier over at Box From Japan – thanks! Box From Japan is a subscription service – you can get a box sent to you every month with some great noodles within! Today, we have a nice little cup – pork tonkotsu! Let’s crack it open and see what is inside!
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Guessing it contains pork. To prepare, open lid and remove sachet. Add boiling water to fill line and cover for 2 minutes, leaving sachet on top to hold lid shut. Add in sachet contents. Stir and enjoy!

A liquid sachet.
Cold in here this morning!
Seasoning and vegetables from inside the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). The noodles hydrated pretty well in the 2 minutes allotted; they end up on the al dente side. The broth is very rich and tasty an a little on the salty side. Vegetables and meat hydrated very nicely – the little meat bits are really quite nice! 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901071278243.
