#1768: New Touch Negi Miso no Ippin Ramen

Here’s another one that was sent to me by Javier over at Box From Japan – thanks! Box From Japan is a subscription service – you can get a box sent to you every month with some great noodles within! From what I’m reading, it sounds like this one has a lot of garlic, green onion and leek influence on it. Sounds really good – let’s check it out!

Here’s detail of the side panels (click image to enlarge). Not sure if it contains meat. to prepare, add in contents of sachet and 430ml boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

Detail of both side of the lid (click image to enlarge).

The noodle block.

The soup base sachet.

Has a nice miso scent.

A smaller sachet.

A garlic scented addition.

The vegetables sachet.

Pretty amazing – these blocks are freeze-dried vegetables and when added to water, they spring to life!

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added egg, mung bean sprouts and spring onion. The noodles hydrated extremely well and have a very good premium texture and chewiness. Top shelf stuff. The broth has a very rich miso flavor and a good thickness to it. The block of freeze dried green onion and leek gave everything a very enjoyable finish. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.  JAN bar code 4903088004679.
