#1748: Azami Chili Chicken Flavour Noodle Soup

Here’s another one that was sent to me by Justin M. from Winfield, BC up north of here in Canada! Chili chicken sounds like it’d be pretty good; a familiar flavor and a little bit of spiciness? Sure – let’s have a look at this cup.

Detail of the side panels (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add contents of sachet and 280mnl boiling water to cup and cover for 3 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.

The soup base sachet.

A combination of soup base as well as vegetables in one.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added hard boiled egg, baked chicken, spring onion and ito toughrasi. The noodles were a little mushy and didn’t have a good character to them. Very humdrum. The broth had a kind of nice and light chicken taste with a hint of spiciness, mostly what seemed brought by cumin and chilli powder. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 057197990287.

During the holidays, we watched the Will Ferrell movie ‘Elf’ and he drinks maple syrup at one point. Maple syrup is one of the best things that comes from Canada, and so I thought this Loblaw’s brand President’s Choice 100% Pure Syrup sounded like something to check out.

You might be wondering why I picked this one. Well, I do indeed love the sunshine. Enjoy!
