#1608: Hao Way Penang Vegetarian Prawn Instant Noodles

Here’s another new one from Hao Way – Penang Vegetarian Prawn instant noodles! I’m really quite curious on how you can make a vegetarian prawn flavor. Let’s have a look!

 Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Vegetarian. To prepare, add noodles to 330ml boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in contents of sachet and enjoy!

Has a kind of mushroom scent.

 

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added sweet onion, corn, tau pok and coriander. The noodles have a good chew and gauge that was pleasant to eat. The broth was interesting. I didn’t get a strong prawn style flavor, but I got a richness and slight sweetness that was mushroom based and a nice heat level as well. This was really a fascinating one as well as being one of the better vegetarian varieties I’ve had. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9555730402033.
