#1606: Maggi Perencah Kari Letup Mi Segera

Another one I got during my trip to Malaysia! This looks like a really spicy curry, that’s for sure. All those little peppers on the package! Plus the guy on the package seems to be aghast at the level of spiciness as well! But what does kari letup mean? Well, the Google translation says ‘curry explosion.’ I gotta say I like the sounds of that! Let’s see if Maggi Kari Letup lives up to its name!

Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodle block and sachet contents to 400ml boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

Here’s the noodle block – got banged up a little in transit!

The soup baser sachet.

Has a very nice, strong curry aroma.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added coriander, vegetable ball, sweet onion and tau pok.The noodles are decent – just a tad wider than standard gauge which I liked and decent consistency. The broth has a very tasty curry flavor which I also liked immensely. As far as the level of spiciness, it could have been more although it was detectable. A good bowl of curry. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9556001129154.
