#1250: Samyang Foods 三養라면 (Samyang Ramyun) (South Korean Version)

I’ve had lots of different versions of this. Today it’s the South Korean local one – not the export. Sounds really good to me! Let’s check it out!

Here are the side panels (click image to enlarge). Not sure if it contains beef. To prepare, add boiling water to inner line, cover and let sit for 3 minutes.

The noodle block.

Soup base sachet.

Lots of serious red powder!

Veggies from the bottom of the cup.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added sauteed beef and green onions. The noodles seem slightly thinner than the normal Samyang Ramyun’s width (packaged) and slightly lower in quality. They’re not bad, I just like the pack version much better. The broth is nice – beef and a little spicy. It’s the variety that was the first ramytun to be made in South Korea 50 years ago, so it’s really the baseline. The veggies and bits are quite good. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.UPC bar code 8801073112278.

Here’s a winter version of the Samyang Ramyun commercial.
