#1215: GaGa Mi Instan Cup Milk Chicken Soup (Rasa Sup Ayam Susu)

Another one from my friend in Indonesia! Milk chicken soup – sounds interesting. I had another milk chicken soup variety awhile back which I enjoyed, so maybe this one’ll be good too. Let’s see what’s in this cup.

The side panels (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat-free but check for yourself; contains milk. For this one, you open the lid, add all the packets, add 300cc boiling water and let sit for 3 minutes. Then stir until everything is combined and it’s done.

Here’s the lid (click image to enlarge).

An included fork! Two days in a row!

The noodle block.

The powder soup base sachet.

Very fine powder.

The solid ingredient sachet.

Corn, carrot, dried leek and cabbage.

A dual sachet of chili sauce on the left and seasoned oil on the right.

Here they are swimming together.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added baked chicken with garlic salt and sweet onion, hard boiled egg and lime. The noodles are thin and light – they hydrated perfectly and have a gentle chew. The broth is fantastic – it’s a creamy flavor full of chicken goodness, some onion hints, and a slight spiciness. The vegetables hydrated, but the peas were a little crumbly. 4.75 out of 5.,0 stars. UPC bar code 8888327832021.

Street food in Indonesia – Stinky Tofu! I hear it stinks but it’s quite good.
