Meet The Manufacturer: #1029: Samyang Foods Nagasaki Crab Jjampong

Most people who are keen on South Korean ramyun have heard of the craze for ‘white broth’ ramyuns. Nagasaki Jjampong was Samyang Foods’ entry into the white broth realm, but they made another variety – Nagasaki Crab Jjampong – that has a milder taste. Let’s check it out.

The noodle block.

The powder packet.

Lots of fluffy white powder. Has a sweet and salty flavor and isn’t spicy.

Solid ingredients.

Veggies and pieces of dehydrated crab meat.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added imitation crab, red bell pepper and green onions. Noodles are very good and have a very good texture. The broth is a nice and mild crab flavor. It’s quite tasty! The added bits are nice – the seafood tasty. A nice flavorful bowl of noodles which I thoroughly enjoyed. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 8801073110540.
