#837: Nissin Top Ramen Cucharealo Home-Style Picante Chicken Flavor

Here’s one of the new one Nissin Foods USA sent recently. Cucharealo, eh? Couldn’t find out what that exactly means, but it looks like it’s something new and geared towards the Latino market. Interesting that it says Top Ramen on it too – brand recognition! Awesome – let’s give it a go.

Here are the sides and back – click to enlarge, as usual.

The noodles are in a bag – the box has three bags. These are short and thin.

One of the three seasoning packets.

Nice color – tasted a pinch – had some niceness to it, that’s for sure!

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added a couple fried eggs, some shredded cheese and some Krazy Mixed Up Salt. This is great stuff! The noodles are again short and this is really a soup – spoon was used on this one. The noodles are really nice – they have a good consistency and there’s a lot of them. The broth is excellent – has a strong chili powder and cumin taste and has a decent kick to it. This is really quite a departure from the norm. I delighted in the whole bowl! 4.5 out of 5.0 stars – excellent! UPC bar code 070662081037 .
