Re-Review: Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo Hwa Ramyun With Soy Peptide

Here’s Paldo’s standard hot & spicy variety. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be the hottest days of the year here in the northwest – temps are supposed to hit 94 degrees today and 96 tomorrow. Hot and spicy sounds just about right! What’s Hwa though? Couldn’t figure that one out but here’s what the health info on soy peptide is! Anyways – I’m hungry – time to noodle it up!

The noodle block.

The seasoning packet.

Salty and spicy stuff!

The veggies!

Looks like a decent amount.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added some kimchi, an egg, chicken and some Krazy Mixed Up Salt. The noodles are great – plentiful and nice gauge/texture. The broth has a strong spiciness to it with a nice flavor – not just hot but good taste as well. The veggies aren’t bad – and easily found. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.UPC bar code 648436100422 – get it here.

Ouch…

Wow – what are they wearing on their heads? Go Lotte Giants!

  1. Not too sure what Hwa meant, I’m not Korean but I’ll take a punt. The character on the package means fire. It’s a chinese character so I reckon Hwa might be fire in Korean?
