#673: Ohsung Hong Ramyun Noodle Soup With Soy Peptide Mild Taste

Here’s the first one of the reviews I’ll be doing of the big donation from Jennifer Kim at Ramen Place (www.ramenplace.com)! Thanks again! This one’s a new brand – Ohsung. It’s from Korea! Let’s have a look!

Here’s the back of this big package (click image to enlarge).

Here’s the noodle block – looks like nice wider-gauge noodles.

Vegetable packet on the left, seasoning packet on the right.

A nice amount of veggies and a glorious mountain of seasoning.

Click image to enlarge. Added an egg during the last 45 seconds of cooking. The noodles are decent quality – chewy enough and a nice wideness. The broth is what you would expect from a hot and spicy Korean instant noodle pack – without the heat. It’s got a hint of spiciness. The vegetables aren’t bad either. This is what I would consider a good baseline for Korean instants. Seems like every brand has some kind of hot and some kind of mild ramyun. This one was pretty good! 3.25 out of 5.0 stars – UPC barcode 846034000575 .
